Let go and....
relax your mind & body
to connect with your inner wisdom
to be in the moment.....

Lets relax
Set the scene. Turn off the mobile. Be warm. Play some calm, inspiring music
Ensure your environment is safe for you to fully relax in
Choose a position comfortable for you now you're pregnant
You may wish to use cushions to support your spine and pelvis, you may wish to close your eyes
- Release and let go by using your breath
- Breathe deeply into your lungs and let your tummy expand. Keep it soft. Let it happen
- Feel your ribs, chest and spine expand
- Gently let the breath go in a deep sigh
- Take a small pause before you inhale again.
- Continue this cycle finding your own rhythm and flow
Connect with your mind
Allow outside noises and inner anxieties to flow over you as you become more mindful of your breath.
As you breathe in picture a stream of light being drawn in from the very top of your head. Feel it travel down to into your pregnant tummy and to your very centre.
At the same time picture a stream of light being drawn up from the soles of your feet into your centre.
Pause for a moment then let the breath go in a deep sigh.
With each breath in feel this light flow from the sky and from the earth to your very centre.
Embrace this peaceful inner light.
When the time is right for you return your focus to the present and gentle, normal breathing.

At this time you may be feeling apprehensive about the many ways your body is changing as your pregnancy develops
This relaxation technique is about trust and being grounded
Have faith in your body, your instincts and trust the grand design of life
