Embrace your breath to relax your mind & pregnant body
to connect with your inner wisdom
to be in the moment..... 
Let's relax

 

Set the scene. Turn off your mobile. Be warm. Maybe play some calm, inspiring music
Ensure your environment is safe for you to fully relax in
Choose a position comfortable for you. Use cushions to support your back
You may wish to close your eyes to help you focus within.

  • Release and let go by using your breath. Keep it soft
  • Breathe deeply into your lungs and let your tummy expand. Let it happen.
  • Feel your ribs, chest and spine expand.
  • Gently let the breath go in a deep sigh.
  • Take a small pause before you inhale again
  • continue this cycle finding your own rhythm and flow

 

Connect with your mind

Let thoughts and noises come and go as you become more mindful of your breath
Open your palms to the sky, allow them to relax and feel heavy
Picture breathing in light which you draw right down into your tummy to your very centre

Embrace and enjoy the warmth and radiance of this light

As you let your breath go, picture the light travelling down each arm and into your open palms

Now feel this warm and radiant light reflect back to shine into your heart area.
Open up and let this warm light flow. Feel how lovely, calming and loving this feels
Continue this beautiful cycle of light with each breath slowlt taken
When the time is right for you return your focus to the present and gentle, normal breathing
