Throw away your tension

Aims

This powerful,explosive, quick and easy exercise helps you to:

  • Disconnect from your present anxious and stressed state
  • Tranfer and throw away your negative energy
  • Physically, mentally and emotionally release your gathered tension

Actions

This exercise can be done almost anywhere at any time.
It can be helpful to do this one before you begin to relax, just to clear your energy. 
Choose a position comfortable for you, standing, sitting or lying.

  • Clench your fists and tighten your chest.
  • Firmly press your fists together, knuckle to knuckle, and place them in the centre of your chest. Keep your body strong and tense.
  • Breathe in deeply into your tummy, and draw breath up through your spine.
  • Hold and contain this energy so it becomes concentrated.
  • Now keeping the rest of your body still, explode and thrust your arms forward, palms away from you.Throw and release!
  • Spread out your fingers and exhale with a deep and forceful 'Haa!' sound
  • Pause for a moment, then slowly and quietly lower your arms.
  • Repeat at least 3 times, or more if you feel the need to.
