Think long and proud
Aims
This movement releases our abdominal muscles and should be done after doing any abdominal work.It also releases tension in the spinal muscles and front shoulders. After doing it you should feel inches taller!

Actions
- Lie on tummy with your upper body supported by your elbows like a sphinx
- Draw your shoulder blades down and back and lengthen through your spine
- Point your toes and open up your chest
- Hold for 10-15 seconds before releasing
Adaptations
- If lying on your front is uncomfortable because of breastfeeding, then perform the stretch on all fours by gently curling and arching your back to the sky.
Care Points
- Keep your elbows under your shoulders
- Avoid over arching your spine. The movement is to lengthen rather than arch.
