Let your knees open

Aims

A lovely deep stretch for your inner thighs.

Actions

  • Lie on your back with both knees bent, feet flat on the floor and ankles together
  • Gently breathe out as you allow BOTH your knees to fall out to each side
  • Once you can feel the stretch on your inner thighs, simply hold for 10 seconds
  • Release and slowly bring BOTH your kness back up together

Adaptations

  • The more you allow your knees to open, the more intense the stretch
  • This can be done seated but ensure you sit tall in your spine.

Care Points

  • Move both knees open and together at the same time to protect your pelvis from destabilising
