The first step back to shape begins
Warming up is an essential beginning to your exercise program.
These movements gently warm your muscles and joints and therefore lessen the risk of strain or injury.
They prepare your body for activity by increasing your circulation and heart rate.
They help you connect with your body in motion and therefore focus on correct posture and technique.
Always start slowly with gentle movements to warm up the hands, wrists and ankles.
Then gradually increase the range of movement to include the bigger joints
of shoulders, knees and hips.
Set the scene. Put on some gentle music and let’s flow.
